How’s it going guys! I hope summer is treating everyone well! It’s been a hot start to the summer, that’s for sure! Get to some water, have some pool parties, and enjoy yourselves!

I have been super busy, but I wanted to drop in and give you guys an update! I’ve been doing a lot of writing lately, so that means a lot of new music to record! Whoohoo! I was in the studio on friday, and started tracking a new song with Mark, and I have to say, I’m pretty excited about it! I will post a sample of it, as soon as I get it. I feel like life is always zooming by, so I make lists for myself, so I don’t forget to do them. I want to enjoy life!! Sad huh? Here’s my current list, I want to attempt in the next couple months or so.

1. Lay in bed and read the entire newspaper, with a hot cup of coffee.

2. Wear the pair of “too short” khaki shorts, all summer, despite what your mom says.

3. Buy as many cheap sunglasses as possible. My collection is coming along nicely I might add. H&M. Thank you.

4. Turn my phone off for a whole day.

5. Night swimming. Its the best.

6.  Stay up all night, with a whole bunch of friends. Maybe some fire, Firewater and guitars.

7. Wear my hideous loafers out to “social event” and not get slapped.

8. Take my little sister shopping and buy WHATEVER she wants.

9. Lay in a hammock  and read a new book.

10. Go camping

Excited for the summer yet? Its coming! Go out and see some concerts! I know I am. I pray every night that The Police will come somewhere near me. So if you could join me in writing to Sting, begging him to do a show over here, I’d appreciate it. If you don’t know the address, just google “the biggest castle,” it’s his.

If you need some good music to listen too, check out Trent Dabbs. I’ve been hitting up some of his work lately. Killer stuff. Also been diggin The Script. Those guys have it all going for them. Sheesh.

I just got back from Nashville, man I love that city. I stayed with my sister and her husband, who have a sweet house down there, and are kind enough to let me stay with them. Had a ton a fun, ate a lot of great food, hung out with some great people, and got some GREAT music work done! I took a whole day, and hung out with an incredibly talented artist, B Reith, www.myspace.com/breith Did some writing, and some jamming-Some eating, some facebooking Really great guy, just an overall good person. Seriously, take some time and go buy his music, you won’t regret it. Here’s a taste.

Its still a “rough” demo, but it gives you an idea of what the song sounds like. I’m happy with it, but be careful, it will haunt your head for hours, and hours. Let me know what you think, please!

I’ve got some more audio to toss up, that I’m REALLY excited about, some new material I can’t wait to start recording, I just have to collect and find everything before I can put it up on the site. I’ll keep you posted!

My finance and I are having friends over for Pasta and Wine night, come join us! We are watching 500 Days of Summer tonight, which I have been wanting to see, FOREVER! Anyone seen it?

In my music news,  I started a new song in the studio, that I’m writing with Mark Filippi, which I’m really excited about! Sounds so good already! I’m heading into the studio again on monday, and I will try and post some song samples, or maybe even a video!!! I’m so blessed to be surrounded by such good musicians/people. Mark is an excellent writer/lyricist. He’s an essential part of my sound.

Also, flying down to Nashvegas to do some recording/writing with some killer guys in a few days. I’ll keep ya posted on how that all goes down. Could beee fun! Although, Im not checking my guitar, I’m going to see if I can carry it on Wish me luck!

So starting today, I will be posting a video once a week. Minimum. Maybe more, If I can find the time! I think it will be fun, and keep you guys in the loop more, post vids of new songs, covers, “what-nots.” With some luck I’ll even bring on some friends to hang out with the weekly videos.
